The Tomei Timing Chain Tensioner (TCT) camshaft release tool is required when changing the cams out on your Evo X. The tool made by Mitsubishi makes it impossible to do the job alone, but Tomei's revision utilizes the screw hole on the top of the head deck surface to lock the TCT tool into position allowing you to have the free hand you need to get the job done!
